About the Journal

The Proceedings of the International Congress on Industrial Engineering constitute the official publication compiling the scientific, technological, and innovation contributions presented at the International Congress on Industrial Engineering, organized by the Argentine Association of Industrial Engineering and Related Programs (Asociación Argentina de Carreras de Ingeniería Industrial y Afines – AACINI).

The Congress is held annually and is organized by AACINI in collaboration with a host university, which serves as the venue for each edition. The event brings together faculty members, researchers, students, professionals, and representatives from industry, fostering the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and advances across the various fields of Industrial Engineering and related disciplines.

The proceedings publish papers accepted through the peer review process established by the Scientific Committee of each edition, providing a permanent record of the scholarly contributions presented during the Congress. The published articles address topics including, but not limited to, operations management, logistics and supply chain management, quality management, manufacturing, innovation, sustainability, digital transformation, data analytics, process engineering, ergonomics, technology management, engineering education, and related areas.

Through this publication, AACINI seeks to promote the dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge, strengthen collaboration among universities, research institutions, public organizations, and industry, and advance Industrial Engineering as a strategic discipline for improving competitiveness, sustainability, and societal development.

Each volume corresponds to an annual edition of the International Congress on Industrial Engineering and identifies the host university responsible for organizing that edition, preserving the academic record of the event and providing open access to the published papers in accordance with the publication's editorial policies.
